Biography

Guy, the owner of Fidum has had a life long passion for classic cars and has owned a number of classic cars and motorbikes including Alfa Romeos, Mercedes, Land Rovers, and Kawasaki's. He enjoys getting hands on and is often found underneath whichever vehicle getting his hands dirty.  His first memory of sitting in a classic car was as a ten year old perched in the driver seat of an Aston Martin DB6.  

This passion has never left him, and even now can't resist any E-Type, DB4/5/6 or Daytona that happens to pass.  The Goodwood Revival has to be one of Guy's happy places, surrounded by the classic cars he loves, watching them being used as intended whilst soaking up the amazing atmosphere and smells.

Guy's background was as a sergeant in the Imagery Analyst branch of the Royal Air Force in which he served for fourteen years, a career that saw him serve in many operational areas including the Gulf and Croatia.  Guy says that the RAF taught him many things including hard work, attention to detail, perseverance and because of his chosen branch, discretion.

Guy has decided to turn his enthusiasm for classic cars into a source of help for those wanting a discreet, personal way of finding their dream car.
