Biography

I started Fidum because buying a classic car should be exciting - not stressful.

I have had a life long passion for classic cars and motorbikes and have owned a number of classics including Alfa Romeos, Mercedes, Land Rovers, and Kawasaki's. I enjoy getting hands on and am often found underneath whichever vehicle tending to their needs.  My first memory of sitting in a classic car was as a ten year old perched in the driver seat of an Aston Martin DB6.  

This passion has never left me and even now can't resist any E-Type, DB4/5/6 or Daytona that happens to pass.  The Goodwood Revival has to be one of my happy places, surrounded by the classic cars I love, watching them being used as intended whilst soaking up the amazing atmosphere and smells.

My background was as a sergeant in the Imagery Analyst branch of the Royal Air Force in which I served for fourteen years, a career that saw me serve in many operational areas including the Gulf and Croatia.  The RAF taught me many things including hard work, attention to detail, perseverance and discretion.
